Upon arrival, if you are new to Doggone Pretty Inc., you will be greeted by the receptionist who will ask you to fill out a New Client Card, sign a waiver, and take your pet’s vaccine history.

Your assigned groomer will always greet you and your pet. At this time your groomer will assess your pet and ask questions about your pet’s health, behavior, and grooming needs. We will ask detailed questions about how you would prefer your pet groomed and offer advice if necessary. Pricing can be discussed as well, along with an estimated time of finishing your pet’s groom.

Once your pet is in our care, we will take them outside to our fenced in grass area to potty.

Shortly after your pet will start the grooming process, starting with a bath, blow dry, brushing, nails, anal glands, and ear cleaning.

Depending on the grooming package you have chosen, and your pets needs they will be given a breed standard trim, or trimmed to your specific wants and needs. Shedding dogs will receive a coat blow out, brushing, and carding of loose hair. All pets will receive finishing spray and cologne for a sleek, nice smelling coat.

Once finished, you will be notified by text, unless you request a call, to let you know your pet is done. Anyone leaving pets longer than one hour after you are contacted, may incur a daycare charge.

After the groom, while they wait, they will be given a comfy blanket and water. Pets staying extended time, will be given multiple potty break.

Most pets need to stay with us 2-4 hours, often going home sooner. We will contact you if the timeframe changes for any reason.
